2 spp Predator-Prey Example

In this example, you will work with some data generated from a simple Lotka-Volterra model and try to determine what is the underlying difference between two predator-prey systems. Is it something about the predator? Like attack rate or conversion efficiency? Or is it something about the herbivore? Or both?

The purpose of this exercise is to
• Learn how to do a very basic MAR-1 analysis
• See how to do a search to find the B matrix with lowest AIC or BIC
• See how to calculate CIs
• Practice interpreting the output from a MAR-1 analysis
